Washington Prepares For The "Murder Hornets"

If you thought the wave of "Murder Hornets" has passed without incident, you were wrong.

Northwestern Washington’s Whatcom County is placing around 600 traps to catch invasive Asian giant hornets.

Dubbed "murder hornets," the insects are brutal to pollinators and are known to decapitate honey bees.

The Washington State Department of Agriculture plans to trap for hornets through the end of October.

So continue to mark "murder hornets," and "global pandemic" off of your 2020 bingo cards.
