Website Makes Criminal Claim for Washington's Favorite Summer Dessert

Hello, 911? I'd like to report a crime.

The Daily Meal needs to be arrested for claiming us in the great state of Washington devour Black Rice Pudding during the hot summer months!

Now I never turn my nose up at delicious post dinner treats but I had to google the dish. Here's what I found out:

What is black rice pudding?
Made with sticky whole grain black rice, coconut milk and toasted coconut, this warm rice puddingis creamy, sweet, a little savory, and very coconutty. ... It's also dairy-free and gluten-free, making it a great dessert— or breakfast — for almost any guest.

It kind of sounds delightful but to claim it for our state's preferred dessert still doesn't pass the test.

I live by the K.I.S.S. method, and no that's no dressing up in make-up and rocking arenas, but more the Keep It Simple Stupid. And when we're talking desserts in Washington look no further than the incredible Huckleberry.

Huckleberry everything. Ice cream, milkshakes, pies... whichever dessert you crave, throw some of those magical hucks on there to pimp it out.
